About Us
What is the Central California Hemophilia Foundation?
The Central California Hemophilia Foundation, CCHF is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people with bleeding disorders. A major role of our chapter is as the community liaison and communicator between the families, the medical profession, and governmental institutions. Centered in the heart of California, we serve the central valley from its center in Sacramento the the borders of Nevada and Oregon; particularly the 29 counties covered by the local Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) at the University of California at Davis (UCD). CCHF works in cooperation with her sister chapters in San Diego, Southern California, the San Francisco Bay area, and with the Hemophilia Council of California and has been an active chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) since 1969.
