March Girl Talk ~ Virtual

No matter who you are–a bleeding disorder patient, family member, or caregiver–we know women in the bleeding community face unique challenges. That’s why we created Girl Talk.

Girl Talk gives women the chance to share their struggles, find support, and, of course, have some fun along the way. These monthly virtual events are opportunities for women 16 and older in the bleeding disorder community to gather for education, support, and socialization.

This month’s presentation is by the National Hemophilia Foundation and is called Juggling Life. Here is the session description – Learning how to find balance in life is a challenge, but when you have a bleeding disorder, doctor’s appointments, hospitalizations, and issues with coworkers, family, friends, and partners can all add additional stressors to your life. As a caregiver and/or family member, you may have your own stressors that come with caring for someone with a bleeding disorder. How do you find a sense of balance? A place where you can feel a sense of stability when other parts of your life are unstable? You have the power to create your own balanced place. You need to consider what makes you feel balanced, present, and aware of yourself in the moment, and to be able to manage what is in front of you in strategic and focused ways.
